Discover Further Options

Open a bin. Once inside, further features can be found under Bin Options. These include:

  • Edit: configure all aspects of your bin (please contact your Wazee Digital representative via the Helpdesk for further information)
  • Rename: rename your bin and select a folder if required
  • History: view details of the bin including the date created and modified
  • Copy URL: copy the bin’s URL and share it with other Core users. Click Copy URL, in the Bin URL box that opens, highlight and copy the provided URL text and paste it into an email for sharing. Note: This requires the other user to log in to their Core account
  • Email: give bin access to single or multiple Core users. They will receive an email notification with a link to view the bin
  • Subscribe: display data on recently ingested assets that can be published to various RSS readers (please contact your Wazee Digital representative via the Helpdesk for further information)
  • Direct Access Link: click this and in the page that opens highlight and copy the URL in the browser’s address bar. Paste this URL into an email for sharing. This provides restricted ‘preview-only’ access to the bin in a single web page with a Screening Room feature (i.e. no other Core access is granted from this page). Note: The link is active for a set period
  • Notes: add notes to your bin in the Edit page. This option will only appear after you have clicked Direct Access Link (see above)
  • Download Ready Now Comps: if you have the correct renditions created from your master asset then you can download low resolution comps here. If there are no assets in your bin that have comps available for immediate download then please contact your Wazee Digital representative via the Helpdesk for further information
  • Edit Asset Metadata: edit all metadata (both Basic Data and Advanced Data) associated with the assets in your bin (please contact your Wazee Digital representative via the Helpdesk for further information)
  • Create Subclips: if you have used the Simple Player or Advanced Player tools to create virtual segments (a bin clip) and saved them in a bin, you can then use the Create Subclips feature to transform these bin clips into assets (please contact your Wazee Digital representative via the Helpdesk for further information). Also see What is a bin clip and how do I create one?
  • List Clips: display data on all clips held within a bin
  • Export Metadata: please contact your Wazee Digital representative via the Helpdesk for further information
  • Admin Edit: see Edit (above)

Also see all available bin tools under Tools. These include simple tasks such as:

  • Select All
  • Select None
  • Move Selected to New Bin
  • Add Selected to My Downloads
  • Copy Selected Assets into Active Bin
  • Move Selected Assets into Active Bin
  • Remove Selected
  • Remove All
  • Assign Selected Assets to... this feature assigns the assets in the bin to a pre-configured workflow state. Workflow states can be set up by your Wazee Digital representative to enable assignable workflow tasks like clip harvesting (i.e. creating multiple sub-clips from a single long-form asset) or adding common metadata attributes across a batch of selected assets in a uniform manner. Note: if you are interested in workflow states, then please contact your Wazee Digital representative via the Helpdesk
